Laura De Simone Borma holds a PhD in Civil Engineering from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, with emphasis in Environmental Geotechnics. She was a former professor at Federal University of Tocantins and at School of Arts, Sciences and Humanities (EACH-USP).
Carlos Afonso Nobre
Carlos Afonso Nobre is an engineer graduated from Aeronautical Technical Institute (ITA) and holds a PhD in Meteorology from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He is a member of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences (ABC) and the Academy of Sciences for Developing Nations (TWAS) and the Academy of Sciences of the State of São Paulo (Aciesp).
